HGV 1 Drivers in Erith, London

StaffCo Direct are currently looking for HGV1 /Class 1 drivers for on-going work doing Supermarket deliveries using refrigerated trailers.

We are looking for experienced HGV 1 drivers with a minimum 1 years' experience, no more than 6 penalty points, good communication skills, good knowledge of Tacho law and WTD and experience of using fridges. 

Candidates will be making timed deliveries to some of the UK's best known supermarkets and in most cases be working between 10 and 12 hour shifts. 

In this role as a Key Worker you will be delivering cages to supermarket stores throughout the South East of England.

Both Day and Night is Work available, maximum hours to part time or weekends.

Pay rates:

£14.50 per hour (Monday to Friday hours worked between 06:00 - 14:00)

£14.80 per hour (Monday to Friday hours worked between 14:00 - 22:00)

£15.70 per hour (Monday to Friday hours worked between 22:00 - 06:00)

£15.60 per hour (Saturday hours worked between 06:00 - 22:00)

£16.10 per hour (Saturday hours worked between 22:00 - 06:00)

£16.10 per hour (Sunday hours worked between 06:00 - 22:00)

£17.10 per hour (Sunday hours worked between 22:00 - 06:00)

Essential:

Valid HGV 1 Licence

UK Driving Licence

CPC + DIGI TACHO

No More Than 6 Penalty Points (No DR, DD or IN Codes)

The ideal candidate will also have great communication skills, very safety conscious, be able to make decisions under pressure, organised, flexible and reliable with the ability to successfully monitor their own working hours and breaks while keeping all other driving aspects within the law.
