Service Care Solutions are recruiting for an Evaluator to work on the Fraud Triage Desk with the local Police service in Manchester.
The main responsibility of this role is to Evaluate Crimes held on the iOPS system, and to conduct assessments of cases referred by other methods such as referrals from Police Scotland and Private Industry.
Responsibilities
* Evaluate Crimes held on the iOPS system.
* Assessments of cases referred by other methods such as referrals from Police Scotland and Private Industry.
* Assessment of THOR utilising financial intelligence and police systems.
* Liaison with partner agencies.
* Review of referrals and enquiries forwarded to the Economic Crime Unit.
* Conducting Investigative Assessments on Fraud Referrals.
Experience
* Experienced Specialist Fraud Investigator.
* Experienced in Crime Evaluation.
* Good knowledge of the Home Office Counting Rules and National Crime Recording Standards and practical experience of its application.
* Has a thorough understanding of the PIP 1 Crime Management Standards and its application in a Fraud Environment.
* Understands and has experience of the application of the Victims Code of Practise.
* Has a good knowledge of PACE, Policing and Crime Act as well as disclosure in a Fraud environment.
* Demonstrates a good working knowledge of the Fraud Investigative Model.
* Good working knowledge of Current GMP police system's such as iOPS and Cyclops.
* Experienced researcher in policing and partner intelligence systems.
* Ability to produce reports, documents and presentations as required.
* An awareness of GMPs Fraud Policy.
* Ability to work with minimum supervision and on own initiative.
