HR Advisor - £30,000 - £35,000 - Worksop/Nottinghamshire/Home based

Our client, a global business services company, is looking for an experienced and ideally CIPD qualified HR Advisor to join them permanently at their site in north Nottinghamshire - although the role will be largely home based to begin with due to the current pandemic.

Supporting a diverse client group which will range from head office and support centre professionals through to a manufacturing site in Leicestershire and a call centre in Scotland, you'll provide a robust HR service to managers on a wide range of HR activities.

A good part of your role will be to support manages on all different types and level of ER issue. This could include help on sickness and absence through to performance, disciplinaries, and grievance as well as investigations. You'll need to support a wide range of managers, all with different HR capability levels, with support, advice and guidance on HR policy, procedure and process to ensure the right outcome.

You'll need to be a strong influencer to help managers understand the value HR can add and ensure a fair and consistent approach to people matters. This will be a busy role with several hundred staff in your client group to help. The role will initially be home based with a rota system in operation for time spent in the office to support social distancing.
