Community Support Hub Response Officer needed for West Berkshire Council, £10.55 ltd an hour
Start Date- ASAP
Contract End date- 3 months initially
Hours per week - 37 hours
Pay rate - £10.55 ltd an hour
Team - Building Communities Together Team
Location - Newbury
Description
*To responds to requests for support from residents who are shielding, self-isolating or otherwise vulnerable as a result of COVID-19, making use of local and national information resources
*Signpost residents contacting the Hub to local community/volunteer groups and other agencies who can offer support, over the phone or by email
*Undertake Level 2 call handling duties for the Local Contact Tracing Service
What is required?
*GCSE Grade C in English and Maths or equivalent
*Experience of providing advice and support to customers in a professional and polite manner
*Basic understanding of COVID-19 national and local guidance
