Special School Teaching Positions Cardiff
Location: Cardiff, Newport and surrounding areas
Salary: £120-£138 per day depending on experience
Contract: Full or part Time roles as well as daily supplyThe SEND department at Empowering Learning are seeking to appoint hardworking and committed primary practitioners with experience working with pupils in a special needs setting (Autism, ADHD, EBD, SEMH, MLD, PMLD, SLD, Complex, Hearing or visually impaired, 1:1 or small groups, behaviour and any other area involving support vulnerable individuals).
Candidates should have:
Experience of and commitment to raising achievement in a school setting
The ability to demonstrate outstanding practice differentiating plans, writing Individual Education Plans, liaising with supporting agencies and implementing additional support programs to meet pupils' specific needs.
Relevant training would be ideal but is not essential as we offer training also such as team teach and SEND workshops - But it would be an advantage if you have existing training and/or experience relating to working with pupils with autism for example, PECS, TEACCH training.
