Mechancial Project Manager - Permanent - £35-£41k - Tyne and Wear

We are currently recruiting for a fantastic opportunity for a leading Facilities management company in the North East. We are looking for an Mechanical Project Manager to join the team as the business is going through a steady period of growth. The business serves the commercial, care, catering and hospitality industries.

On a day to day basis you will be responsible for managing the operational team of engineers, overseeing the delivery of works, tendering for new opportunities across the country whilst ensuring all work is financially controlled and delivered to specified standards. You will also develop the team with training methods, coaching and also make additions to the team when required.

The ideal candidate will have the following:

- HNC or equivalent in Mechanical Construction (or similar subject)

- Experience in estimating

- Project Management experience

- Experience in delivering M & E Major / Minor works projects within
commercial buildings

- Management of health and Safety legislation and CDM Regs 2015

Candidates must have a valid driving license as you will be required to travel to a range of client sites.
