Job Details

HR and Payroll Administrator required, for exciting newly created opportunity within the Construction Industry.

Our client seeks an experienced HR Administrator to handle a range of HR and payroll duties. The successful applicant should have a sound knowledge of payroll and HR procedures and principles, as well as exceptional organisational skills, strong numerical abilities and a naturally meticulous nature.

Typical duties will include:

Handling the recruitment process - arranging interviews, preparing starter packs and presenting inductions
Processing DBS checks
Issuing relevant IT equipment, mobile phones, uniform etc
Co-ordinate staff training and maintain staff training matrix
Liaising with external partners (such as IT & HR companies)
Maintain company vehicle paperwork (service/repair/vehicle information)
Check timesheets
Monitor mileage
Monitor annual leave and sickness
Prepare data for payroll (new starters, leavers, tax code changes, sick pay etc)
Manage data files and destroying records when no longer needed to retain
Monitor company emails
Engage and monitor Agency labour as required
Maintain subcontractor databaseApplications are welcomed from individuals with previous HR and payroll experience and strong IT skills.
