YOS Operations Manager

I am currently representing Enfield Council, who are offering an initial temporary contract for a period of 3 -6 Months with a view to be extended or offered a permanent position for the right candidate at a rate of up to £35.00 per hour which is negotiable dependent upon experience

We are looking for a YOS Operations Manager this role will mostly be based at: EN1 3ES

The right candidate will:

You will be working as a YOS Operations Manager within Enfield Council, your role will include;

* Being responsible for the effective management of youth justice case work across all spectrum

* Ensuring the timely allocation of cases and timely quality assessments leading to highly effective intervention plans

* Ensures all practice adheres to the YJB National Standards and practice guidance

* Support case workers through co-working complex or challenging cases

* Effectively manage the oversight of all case work and practice

* Risk management within your team’s caseload, escalating any safeguarding concerns to the Head of Service

* Provide direct line management and support to designated direct reports

The Right candidate will have the following:

* Experience of working as a YOS Operations Manager

* Experience of managing a team of caseworkers

* Experience of working for a local authority is desirable

* Hold a recognised Youth Justice accredited training certificate
