Field Service Engineer (Medical)

Bedford (South East Territory)

£25,000 to £33,000 + Company Car + Fuel Card + 28 Days Holiday + Annual Bonus + Pension + Full Product Training.

Mon-Fri 9AM TO 5PM Flexible hours.

Field Service Engineer required for a specialist medical service provider who offer a varied field service role, operating within the Bedford and surrounding South East Territory. They can offer great personal and technical development as well as longevity for this role.

To apply to the Field Service Engineer role, you will need to have experienced in a Field Based position and have a strong Electrical/ Electronic knowledge. Ideally you will hold a relevant Electro-Mechanical engineering qualification. Those with a background servicing medical equipment are encouraged to apply, although experience in other industries will be considered.

The Field Service Engineer will be responsible for the service and repair of high end, specialist medical equipment. This role will be a mix of workshop based service/ testing of new products as well as field based preventative maintenance and breakdown repair on customer sites. You will cover the South East areas such as Norfolk & Essex, and you will also need to be commutable to the workshop in Bedford. From time to time, travel to various parts of the UK may be required, to cover other engineers, however this is rare.
