LLOP / PPT Pickers - Warehouse Operatives

This role is to start training on a day shift and move onto the NIGHT shift after training.

Quest in partnership with our client based in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire are searching for Warehouse Operatives who are hardworking, ambitious, target driven, flexible and have a good eye for detail.

You will be subject to D+A testing as part of your induction

General information

Your role may include:

Picking
• RFD gun picking via WMS system
• LLOP/PPT picking
• Accuracy of picks
• Safety of stacking
• Achieve a minimum of 88 cases per hour (700 per shift)
• Aisle hygiene
• Lifting of heavy and awkward boxes (two-man where needed)

Checking
• 100% checks of picked pallets using paper pick sheets (looking to move over to RFD guns shortly)
• Stacking and wrapping of pallets once checked securely ready for transit to garden centres
• Last line of accuracy before the pallet goes out to the customer
• Record and document basic information on the pick sheets and onto pallet labels
• Lifting of heavy and awkward boxes (two-man where needed)

Drivers
• Use of either Flexi aisle master / VNA
• Perform put-always or Replens in line with the business needs
• Support pickers with air picks when needed
• Use a truck-mounted screen or RFD gun to perform tasks via WMS system
• Achieve 15-18 moves per hour
• Operate at 13mtr / 7 high racking

The role involves the following physical requirements daily:

• Standing or walking long periods depending on shifts
• Lifting and moving products up to 15kg
• Lifting, bending, reaching above the head, crouching, and/or stretching
• Pushing and pulling pallets using pump trucks
• Manual dexterity in both hands and wrists
