Housing Disrepair Paralegal – Bury

Salary: £30.00ph

Part-Time (20 hours)

Job Purpose:

Required to deal with a caseload of housing disrepair claims from first communication up to the issue of proceedings. This will involve the set-up of the case file, collating, printing and serving the relevant pre action disclosure, responding to correspondence including the Letter before Claim, instructing an expert surveyor and negotiating settlements, costs and fees. Previous experience is required together with knowledge of the housing disrepair pre-action protocol, excellent communication skills and experience in negotiating
