We are working on behalf of our client who is an international brand and a true leader in their field of expertise. We are seeking to speak to and ultimately recruit a Warehouse Manager to join the team on a permanent basis, working 40 hours per week, (Apply online only), Mon-Fri with the potential of weekend overtime depending on the needs of the business.

Package

• Salary £30,000 to £41,500 per year
• 20 days holiday plus bank holidays.
• Up to 5 days additional holidays granted for yearly service.
• Performance bonus scheme of 3.5% of annual salary at each half year stage.

The role

Your role will be to lead the warehouse function and to train and nurture talent within the business. You will oversee 10 staff with the business currently receiving 2,000 orders per month. You will liaise closely with the sales team, packing, assembly and despatch to ensure the business and it’s people grow.

Key Responsibilities

• Staff management and training.
• Mentoring and coaching of inexperienced staff.
• Organising goods in, quality checking, documenting, and allocation to storage bays.
• Quality and documentation checking and quality control of supplies.
• Organising component assembly, picking, packing, wrapping, palletising and despatch.
• Documentation and labelling.
• Regular stock taking and inventory management.
• Operating to ISO 9001 procedures.
• Health and Safety including compliance with personal protection, training, racking inspections, forklift truck standard compliance.
• Continuous development as a member of a task force team consisting of MD, Purchasing Manager and Warehouse manager.

Requirements for success

• Warehouse experience in a small or medium sized company.
• Management and staff training experience.
• Confident in their ability and able to communicate effectively with people at all levels.
• Ability to make proactive business decisions.
• Lead by example.
• Accountability in their decision making.
• Competent in IT and Microsoft packages.
