Job Details
As a "traditional / conventional" freight forwarder and despite the industry changes our client has evolved with establish partners across the globe which enables swift processing of shipments globally and this reflects in many of the services offered.
The Role:
As a Freight Account Manager, you will be focused on developing the air and sea freight International freight forwarding services. With an established freight office you role would be office based covering the territories above that are set for you selling and promoting a multi-modal freight forwarding services. You will manage the full freight sales cycle, from assessing customer requirements, to managing the relationship, all customer visits and preparing and presenting to a customer in order to make a sale. You will maintain and develop relationships with existing customers in person and via telephone calls and emails, ensuring that service to existing customer base in maintained as you will handle both new business and the ongoing account management and development of your accounts.
You:
Must come from a multi-modal background specialising in either Air, Sea or Ocean Freight with a min. of two years experience with an active customer base
