Empowering Learning is seeking a dedicated Youth Support Worker to work in a Secondary school setting supporting pupils with SEMH and Autism based in Newham or the surrounding areas. The school is seeking a Youth Support Worker that have experience in coaching or mentoring. The ideal candidate must feel comfortable dealing with challenging behaviour from Children and young adults, that can show a calm approach to this behaviour. Experience of working with children or adults in an education setting isn't essential, but a willingness to learn new coaching skills to improve behaviour is critical. The ideal candidate will have excellent behaviour management skills and the ability also to take small groups.

Job Responsibilities
* Supporting secondary pupils with SEMH
* Ability to engage and support pupils
* Supervising and mentoring behaviour of pupils
* Comfortable leading pupils learning in small groups
