Warehouse FLT Operative - Counterbalance Fork Lift Licence Needed!

My client is a Global Manufacturing company, they are looking for a warehouse operative to join their team in Andover. Working hours are 8am - 5pm Monday to Thursday, and 8am - 1pm on a Friday. This is a full time contract position with potential to be ongoing.

You will be:

Receiving and Counting stock items, recording the data manually or by computer
Packing and Unpacking items to be stacked on the shelves of Stockrooms, Warehouses, or storage yards
Verifying inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts of stock, and investigating discrepancies or adjusting errors.
Storing items in an orderly and accessible manner in the warehouses, tool rooms, and other areas.
Marking stock items using identification stamps, tags, electric marking equipment or labelling equipment.
Cleaning and maintaining supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas in order to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
keeping records of used or damaged equipment
Examining and inspecting stock items for wear of problems, reporting damage to supervisors.
Providing assistance or direction to other stockroom, warehouse or storage yard workers.
Determine storage methods, identification and stock location based on turnover, environmental factors, and physical capabilities of facilities.

Education/Experience

Counterbalance Fork Lift Truck Licence
High school diploma or equivalent

Skills required:

Communication skills, both written and Verbal
Analytical and problem solving ability
Detail orientated
Knowledge of relevant equipment, policies and procedures.
