Search Consultancy Ltd is currently looking for a Social Worker to work on a MASH Team in the Greater Manchester area. This position is on a contract basis starting as soon as possible
Salary: up to £33 an hour
MASH Team Responsibilities and requirements:
To have responsibility for a caseload, including undertaking assessments, developing care & support plans, and reviewing them as appropriate once they are implemented.
To improve life opportunities for service users, carers and families using social work methods and models. To continue to develop professionally, and be accountable for the delivery of, and promote social work good practice.
To have good knowledge and understanding of thresholds and being able to apply this to screening making appropriate well balanced recommendations, within time frame
To ensure child is the focus of contact
To take calls from professionals, parents and members of the community
To collate information from partner agencies and process information
To input information on operating system
To have understanding of consent
