We are currently looking for a Support Worker to join our friendly team at Albert House, Clapham
CQC Rating Good – 2017
Albert House is registered for 8 service users, service users have profound Physical and Learning Disabilities and are all wheelchair users, and are aged between 40 – 65 years. The Service Users enjoy going to the local day centre, shops and coffee shops.
Personal Care is required
Flexibility is necessary because some weekend and bank holiday work is required
Good transport links (local buses), onsite parking is available for staff members and visitors
Experience is preferred but not essential as full training is provided, the main things we ask for are that you are reliable, honest and caring
Main Duties
To participate in the day to day implementation of the individual’s support plans and activities within a challenging environment
To maintain effective communication and liaise with the service users, families and other staff members whilst respecting appropriate confidentiality
To prepare meals, do cleaning and laundry duties
To maintain accurate notes and records when required
To work as part of a team to provide high quality care
