Position: Senior Marketing Manager
Location: Hampshire
Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 DOE
Term: Full Time Permanent
We have an exciting opportunity for a marketing professional to join and outstandingly successful marketing team. If you have experience either working for an IT distributor or within the channel this could be a great move for you.
The Vendor Marketing Manager is the focal point of all marketing activities relating to a specific portfolio of vendors. You would proactively manage the planning and implementation of strategic and tactical marketing programmes that are in line with business objectives.
The Vendor Marketing Manager will work closely with the clients Vendor Managers to understand the business objectives and drive activity to and through the channel. You would also work closely with the Sales Account Managers to identify a sub set of partners they can drive incremental lead generation activity through whilst building good relationships with these partners
Accountability's and Activities
Build and develop quarterly, measurable marketing plans in line with the Vendor and business objectives
Support the sales and marketing team on all client events such as trade shows, partner events, and networking events
Measure and report back to the Head of Marketing on the success of all marketing campaigns utilising CRM and marketing automation tools
Plan, create and execute multi touch campaigns that are creative, innovative and return a good level of ROI
Liaise with agencies and suppliers in order to execute the campaigns
Support the planning and execution of lead generation campaigns through channel partners whilst building good working relationships
Ensure all channel activity executed on behalf of the vendor includes the clients corporate value add messaging at all times
Manage pre-determined budgets and claiming of vendor funds in a timely manner
Attend sales and marketing meetings in both the UK and Europe to fully understand the UK and Group strategy
Essential
· Experience of planning and delivering creative, demand generation campaigns
· Experience in IT related industry, Distribution, Re seller, Vendor, Channel Experience
· Confident and engaging personality to build relationships with sales and marketing teams and channel partners
This role will be office based, so although initially remote the candidate will be required in the office full time when Government Covid restrictions are lifted.
