PAY RATE: £37.85 per hour (Umbrella)
START DATE: ASAP
DURATION: 4 months initial contract

LB Bromley is looking for a Senior Parking Design Engineer and a Parking Design Engineer (Parking Technician) to join our Traffic and Parking Team. If you are looking for a challenging role in a Council with a friendly and progressive thinking team, then we look forward to your application.

Bromley is a popular destination with a busy town centre and parking has a vital role to play in supporting the local economy and meeting the needs of residents, visitors and businesses. We are looking for two additional members of staff who can help us deliver a number of CPZs and parking management schemes.

As a Senior Parking Design Engineer you will be responsible for designing and implementing CPZ schemes and other minor parking schemes, carrying out public consultations, preparing reports and with enquiries from the public.

Ideally, you will have the following;

A degree in Civil Engineering or a transport related subject, although we will consider all suitably skilled candidates.
Ability to write Traffic Regulation Orders (desirable)
Ability to use AutoCAD (desirable)
Good report writing and communication skills to engage effectively with members of the public, Councillors and work colleagues.
