We are recruiting a experienced Production Manager for a National Company with a base in Derby. The business has exciting plans for the future and is forecasting to substantially increase its turnover over the next few years. This is a great opportunity to join an ambitious management team where you can add value.

This Production manager position is for someone with a background of paint spraying i:e Trains, Planes, heavy machinery and with leadership experience. You will have proven continuous improvement experience and be confident overseeing up to 20-25 people on the shop floor. This is an important role within the company so those coming from a similar background are highly desired.

Responsibilities of the Production manager include:

planning and organising production schedules
assessing project and resource requirements
estimating, negotiating and agreeing budgets and timescales with clients and managers
ensuring that health and safety regulations are met
determining quality control standards
overseeing production processes
re-negotiating timescales or schedules as necessary
selecting, ordering and purchasing materials
organising the repair and routine maintenance of production equipment
KPI's
Shift times are 7pm-7am Friday , Saturday and Sunday ( once company training has been completed)
