Training Officer
* Washington, Tyne & Wear
* £20,000 - £25,000 per annum
* Full Time, Permanent
A large professional services organisation with multiple operations throughout the UK and Europe is on the lookout for a Training Officer to join their busy HR department.
The successful candidate will have a background in internal training and onboarding and hold responsibility for creating new training documentation from scratch.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
* Assess training needs through job analysis, career paths, annual performance appraisals and consultation with managers
* Create new training and development plans
* Conduct induction and onboarding sessions
* Monitor and evaluate training program
* Develop training content and materials
* Administration of training plans, recording etc.
* Work with management to organise off the job training
* Deal with employee training queries
* Produce training records for learners
* Ownership of skills matrix
Knowledge and Experience:
* Previous experience in an internal training role
* Experience of designing successful training plans
* Excellent communication and leadership skills
* Ability to plan, multi-task and manage time effectively
* Strong writing and record keeping ability
* Good computer and database skills
