ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT - CREDIT CONTROL
BRADFORD – PART-TIME 25-3HOURS A WEEK
** These hours will increase to 35 hours by around March 2021
DAYS NEGOTIABLE
One of my lovely, established clients based in Bradford, have a new position for an experienced Finance/Accounts Assistant to support their busy finance team.
As the Accounts Assistant you will maintain visibility of customer accounts/management information for all of their customers. The role is initially
25 hours per week increasing to 35 once things have returned to some normality.
The role is a very varied position, throughout the accounts departments, including some credit control and will consist of various support to the Finance Director with Finance reports so you will need a very good understanding of Sage 50, Excel using formulas and managing spreadsheet data.
Ideally you will be qualified (or equivalent) and have a minimum of 2 years’ experience with a small to medium sized business and demonstrate strong Microsoft office skills, Sales ledger, bank reconciliation, on-line banking experience with proven Sage 50 Accounts experience.
Prepare monthly management accounts including, prepayments, accruals, variance analysis.
Finance analysis to support Senior Management
Prepare key information to support annual preparation of statutory accounts
Daily processing of receipts and payments, including reconciliations,
Maintain MIS exchange rates
Processing sales invoices, customer receipts, and customer statements
Debt collection, maintaining and building relationships with customers
Invoice query resolution
You will be required to provide absence and holiday cover for purchase ledger
Initially you will focus on sales ledger & some credit control due to customers on stop at the minute, this would also entail some purchase ledger.
I am ideally looking for a candidate with an already established accountancy career to join this friendly finance team.
