HGV 1 Night drivers wanted - Hatfield

We are actively recruiting for Class 1 Drivers for Trunking work at one of our extremely well recognised clients based in Hatfield, Hertfordshire. 

We are looking for highly motivated, flexible Drivers for Mid and Night shifts who can take on the company’s ethos and assist us in the support of our client’s day to day operation. 

The company is extremely accomodating and has shifts available around the clock, You can either work your basic 8 hours or if you want overtime its always available.

The Job:

Guaranteed 5 Nights per week
Trunking to service centres
Ensuring the load gets delivered safely and on time
Average shift length 10 hours
8 Hours Minimun
Start times vary from mid morning onwards
All vehicles are modern and well maintained 
 You will be responsible for making sure all delivery logs are signed and accounted for and the role will require you to be well presented.

What we offer:

£14.00 Per Hour - Days

£15.00 Per Hour - Nights

£16.00 Per Hour - Saturdays

£17.00 Per Hour - Sunday 

£20.00 Per Hour - Bank Holiday

Pay rates will increase after 12 weeks to the following:

£15.56 Per Hour - Days (Overtime rate £21.79 Per Hour)

£18.68 Per Hour - Nights (Overtime rate £23.37 Per Hour)

What we are looking for:

Current and Valid CPC and DIGI TACHO
No more than 6 penalty points (no IN DR or DD codes)
1 years experience 
Excellent level or English
Up to date knowledge of Highway code and WTD
Hardworking
Good Timekeeping
Customer care focused
Well presented
