Job Details
Our client is looking for an experienced Finance Manager working at a local distribution centre in Bournemouth. You must hold a recognised financial qualification (CIMA or equivalent)
THE ROLE
In this role you will:
* Cost control for specific areas of the business, including month end closing, budgeting and forecasting
* Ensure costings are correct and update internal pricing models
* Analyse Supply Network Design projects
* Own the implementation and update of the Cost To Serve model across Europe
* Assist with the standardisation of accounting and operational processes to deliver cost savings
* Work with the DC Leader for Bournemouth on the 5-year plan for the site, by assessing strategic options
* Assist the Logistics Finance Director EMEA with ad-hoc analysis and the co-ordination of requests and initiatives
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
We'd love to see candidates who have:
* Experience assessing business cases for projects or contracts
* Computer skills, including Excel, HFM and SAP
* Ability to interpret complex financial data
* Ability to deliver results within deadlines
Desirable skills include -
* Experience of Supply Chain accounting
