Hygiene Supervisor

A well established successful food manufacturer based in East Yorkshire is looking to further strengthen their existing team and are looking to recruit an experienced Hygiene Supervisor to work a night shift pattern. As the successful Hygiene Supervisor, you will have previous supervisory/ team leader experience and be looking to further develop your career.

The successful Hygiene Supervisor will be responsible for:

Liaising with Production Director to manage the day to day cleaning requirements and report any issues
Managing the day to day work and effectiveness of the Hygiene team across all shifts.
Developing Team skills to achieve multi skilled hygiene teams and organising the training of the Hygiene team and, where required, find suitable training resource.
Controlling and monitoring stocks and usage of consumable and cleaning detergents/sanitisers to control effective usage & costIn return, the successful Hygiene Supervisor will be part of a business that recognises talent and skill and will always promote from within where possible. I am really keen to see your CV if you have previous experience within a Hygiene Supervisor role within a Food or FMCG environment. Knowledge of HACCP, COSHH and BRC/ Audit experience is key to success within this position. You will like to work at speed and be able to think on your feet and be creative in your approach to difficult situations.
