Field Service Engineer
South of England area
Working with industrial clients
Salary is negotiable depending on experience
We are working with an engineering installation company who are looking to add talent to their engineering team in the South of England.
This position is home based, ideally you will be located in or around Berkshire, Hampshire, Wiltshire. Applicants from other areas will be considered however please consider this role will cover the south so travel east and west is required.
You will be working from home as part of a team servicing industrial doors and so will ideally have an industrial door, automatic door, lift industry or access control system background.
Requirements in terms of skills:
• Electro Mechanical skills and qualifications
• Industrial door experience desired
• Electrical background preferred
• UK Drivers Licence
• CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme)
• IPAF.
• Have good communication skills and customer skills
• Presentable at all times.
• Flexible in working hours to meet customer call outs/needs.
• Available for call out rota if required.
The role in general:
• Repair and service the full range of door system products
• Electrical fault finding
• Mechanical capabilities in repairing range of doors.
• Reading drawings and technical instructions.
• Efficient planning capability of site visits to customers.
• Keeping van stock levels correct for the required work plan.
• Completing all customer visits accurately, timely and efficiently.
• Completion of all required documentation and ability to use tablet to log
