Excellent opportunity to gain a diverse design role for a forward thinking, innovative manufacturer where you will implement your technical knowledge across the design department.
On offer is the chance to work on a variety of specialist projects while playing a key role in improvement and overseeing the full design cycle.
The company are a leading manufacturer with a presence across Europe, USA and the UK. They supply into a variety of specialist industrial sectors and predict a strong future for the business.
The role would suit someone with Design experience from a manufacturing background; Automotive, Aerospace or Marine sector knowledge is beneficial. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Solidworks.
Day to day, you will assist in mentoring the design team and working closely as deputy for the Head of Engineering. You will deliver projects on time while also designing a range of products to customer requirements.
All in all, a unique opportunity to gain a varied, dynamic role where you'll be recognised as a technical expert while overseeing the full design cycle.
THE ROLE:
*Design of new and existing products.
*Design fixtures and tooling.
*Using Solidworks.
*Mentoring the design team alongside the Head of Engineering.
*Based in Exeter.
THE PERSON:
*Any Design background within Manufacturing; Automotive, Aerospace or Marine beneficial.
*Solidworks experience.
