Full Time Support worker – Tavistock

£8.85 per hour

(Sleep in nights are paid at a rate between £53.10-£70.47 age dependent)

Hours include evenings and sleep ins.

Additional hours are also available to cover annual leave, training and sickness as required.

The DOVE Project are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and flexible individual to join a team of Care and Support Workers.

My name is K. I am an 18-year-old gentleman with an acquired brain injury, mild learning disability and Autism living in my own home in Tavistock, with 24/7 1:1 support. I have a good sense of humour and enjoy cooking, walking, cycling, playing games on my tablet and PS4.

My family are very important to me and play a big part in my life.

I require support with meal planning and cooking, personal care, daily living skills, shopping, budgeting weekly finances, healthcare and activities.

My staff team involve me with my life choices and support me with a person centred approach. I always wish to be included in decision making about my own life.

I would really like to hear from you if you can provide practical, hands on support, have good communication skills, are patient, have a good sense of humour and share my interests. I need someone to join my team who can help me reach my goals and encourage me to try new things.

Being a driver is essential.
