£25,000 to £30,000 + 28 Days Holiday + Potential Overtime + On Site Parking.
Process Engineer required for a well established automotive manufacturer. This is a new role due to expansion and a great opportunity to join a global manufacturer that can offer job security and personal development.
To apply for the Process Engineer role, you will need to have experience developing and monitoring production processes within ANY manufacturing environment. Ideally you will hold ANY mechanical engineering qualification and have knowledge of the development, installation, and serial production of new process improvements. This role will be a mix of machinery process/ lean manufacturing process improvements.
The Process Engineer will be responsible for the development and monitoring of production processes to ensure that the company can meet goals in capacity, cost, productivity, delivery and quality. You will have an active role in troubleshooting to find the root cause of process related problems during production, so will need to have a good understanding of FMEA. You will also supervise the preparation of drawings and documents for production tools, utilities, floor plans, training and machinery.
The Process Engineer Role:
* Developing and improving manufacturing/ machinery processes.
* Troubleshooting to find process related problems (FMEA).
* Meet goals in capacity, cost, productivity, delivery and quality.
The Process Engineer:
* Strong background in Manufacturing environment.
