Gas engineer

Gas safe engineer needed for work in Plymouth area. Servicing boilers & gas apparatus within properties.

Your new company
You will be working for a maintenance contractor based in the Plymouth area. They have been trading for many years and have contracts with one of the cities biggest social housing organisations.

Your new role
You will be carrying out services and repairs to all types of domestic gas apparatus in both occupied and unoccupied residential properties. This will primarily be cookers and boilers.

What you'll need to succeed

You must be GAS SAFE registered
You will need a full UK Driving Licence
You will need your own tools
Be clean and tidy, and adhere to all safety requirements and regulations
Good communication skills
An ability to deal with customers face to face

What you'll get in return
We are offering a generous rate of £20ph plus money towards travel while working on a temporary basis.
There is a possibility of being taken on a permanent basis, meaning a company phone, van and fuel card will be provided. You will have the opportunity to make valuable new industry contacts as well as the opportunity to become an exclusive Hays candidate meaning first refusal on future job offers.
