Commercial Analyst

An exciting new opportunity to join a friendly, customer focused organisation as a Commercial Analyst to support the Senior Finance Manager in providing robust analysis and contributing toward decision making across the business.

The role will be for an initial 12 month period with a competitive salary of up to £38,000 as well as; flexible working, on-site parking, up to 35 days holiday, up to 10% pension contributions, excellent training opportunities and much more.

Key responsibilities will include:

Working closely and business partnering with key teams such as marketing and sales
Providing analytical expertise with extensive modelling ability
Understanding the data requirements of the business
Providing analytical and reporting support to enable robust decision making across the business To be successful for this Commercial Analyst position, we are looking for the following skills:

Hold or be working towards CIMA / ACCA or ACA qualification
Management accounting experience within a commercial environment
Strong financial modelling skills
Ability to assimilate large amounts of data into meaningful analysis
Business partnering skillsIt is important that the successful Commercial Analyst enjoys working with the wider business and has a natural ability to engage and motivate the wider team.

This position is based in York and is easily accessible on public transport.
