Our client is a leading Automated food and drinks manufacturer, with a reputation for product quality which is second to none and industry leading standards. Due to major investment and development within the organisation, they are looking for a number of aspirational Production Maintenance Engineers to join their expanding team as they grow as a business.
Role & Responsibilities:
*Provide front line maintenance support to the shift operations team
*Keep machinery working to the designed output efficiency
*Dismantle and re-assemble all production equipment
*Electrical, instrumentation and mechanical maintenance
*Regular PPM and scheduled maintenance and improvement works
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
*Must be a multi-skilled maintenance engineer (electrical & mechanical)
*Track record of electrical fault finding & ideally knowledge of PLC's
*Worked on food/bottling machinery, labellers, mixers, grinders, weighers & slicers
*Must have exposure of working in a Food/FMCG manufacturing environment
*Self-motivated and able to work in a team
*Knowledge of lean manufacturing practices & continuous improvement mentality
*Must have a recognised apprenticeship to ONC/HNC
*NVQ Level 3 in Engineering
Shifts & Benefits Package:
*Shift:- 12 hours days and nights rota(Annualised Shift Hours)
*Salary:- £43,000 + Overtime
*Benefits:- Private Pension, Life Assurance
