Are you an experienced production planner with strong scheduling skills? Do you thrive in working within a busy production environment? Are you looking for a new challenge? We are looking for a Production Scheduler to join our operations team based in Hereford. 

We are a leading supplier of Poultry products into an impressive range of customers in the UK retail and food service sectors. With ambitious plans for the future, there hasn’t been a more exciting time to join us.

Purpose of the role:

As a member of the Planning team, you will be responsible for the scheduling of the production lines and the materials required for product assembly. This role provides real time co-ordination and optimisation of materials and production capacity.

Operating in a fast moving, high volume and frequently changing environment, you will need to be comfortable receiving a significant amount of incoming data from various sources and your key responsibilities will include:
Being the pivotal interface between planning and production to ensure on time delivery of our customers’ orders. 
Being the key support to production management on daily operational deliverance, optimising and balancing production lines for the best financial outcome. 
Ensuring planned targets are met by creating and managing daily scheduling processes. 
Continual tracking of actual performance data against plan to ensure corrections can be made to keep on course. What we are looking for:

A logical thinker with strong numerical, analytical and evaluation skills. 
High standard of IT Skills and advanced excel knowledge. 
GSCE’s (or equivalent) in Maths and English
Excellent communication skills with the ability to focus on the right priorities.
Ability to solve problems proactively and an effective decision maker. 
Flexible, adaptable and eager to learn. Working Hours:
