Gap Personnel (operating as an employment business) have exciting opportunities for 20 temporary parcel sorters to join a well-established delivery chain based in the Bridgend area. The environment is busy and fast paced.
Contract Type: Full time, Part time and ad-hoc cover - The client is preparing for peak and they are looking for staff temporary staff potentially with ongoing basis.
Business Area: Warehouse
Location: Bridgend
Salary: £8.73 - £9.50
Various Shifts: Candidates must be flexible for working hours as the shift can change daily by 30 minutes to 1 hour depending on clients requirements. Days 10am - 10pm and Nights 9pm – finish (between7am – 9am)
Main responsibilities:
1. Loading and unloading vehicles for delivery.
2. Putting away stock in the correct locations.
3. Picking and packing.
4. Keep the warehouse area tidy.
5. Recording and reporting faults.
6. Keeping work area clean and tidy.
7. Support colleagues as required.
The successful candidate will have:
1. Good attention to detail.
2. Good numeracy and literacy skill.
3. Team player.
4. Continuous improvement and lean experience.

About You:
We are looking for enthusiastic individuals with good team working skills and a ‘can do’ attitude. You will be able to follow instructions effectively and work on your own initiative with good communication skills.
