Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm (some occasional out of hours work is expected)

My client is looking for an experienced operations manager to manage their busy operations team.

In this role you will be responsible for successfully managing budgets and projects whilst managing a team of 6, so you must have excellent project management skills and previous experience managing a team.

The Role:

Line managing and motivating all members of the office-based Operations team, in line with the companies personnel procedures, including recruitment, induction, and supervision, effective deployment, communications, appraisals, training and development; annual leave, timesheets and absence management.
Dealing with HR for your team - sickness, holiday requests, staff 1-1s and annual appraisals
Attending relevant webinars
Appoint and monitor the performance of team members to carry out customer audits
To liaise with the IT department to ensure that the Operations database is kept suitable for purpose in the light of changing regulations and strategies and drive a culture of continuous improvement.
Monitor debts and payment times and ensure the finance department is alerted if customers are not performing or appear in financial difficulty.
To ensure customers are given regular and timely information on the progress of their job orders.
Develop and monitor customer satisfaction matrices with the CEO.
To hold regular meetings in order to keep the Operations Team updated with developments & ensure progress against agreed targets is met.
Ensure a member of the operations team is always delegated the task of dealing with email/telephone and post enquiries.
Data reporting duties
Contribute to strategic development with supporting data and analysis
Implement the agreed strategy with the CEO
Represent the company at seminars, conferences, webinars and meetings.The ideal candidate:

Evidence of ability to lead and motivate staff
Experience in recruitment
Track record of implementing, monitoring and achieving KPIs
Team player, able to demonstrate ability to work with all levels within the organisation
Innovative approach
Excellent people leadership and management skills
