Location: Shotton Building Systems

Salary: £10.45ph + 10% shift premium

Shift: Shift 1: Tuesday - Friday 06:00 till 16:00 Shift 2: Monday - Thursday 12:00 till 22:00 - alternating weekly

Tata Steel Building Systems is an international business with nearly 50 years' experience in the development and manufacture of pre-finished steel products for the Construction Industry. The products manufactured by the business are applied in many sectors/finished products including building envelope (roof cladding and wall cladding), structural floor & roof decking, fabrications, and other specialist applications.

Job role

The successful candidate will be working within the Profiles & Fabrications department. Contributing daily to achieve production and quality targets, motivation and team work is key. The role can be manually intensive and it's important the candidate is able to keep themselves and their teams safe within a fast paced, production environment. A positive attitude and ambition is a requirement for this position.

Experience

The ideal candidate will possess one or more of the following skills and competencies:

Experience within the manufacturing industry
FLT counterbalance license
Health and Safety reporting systems, COSHH or risk assessments
Sheet metal processing
Working to detailed SOP or SWP's
Experience with working with overhead cranes (slinging/banksman)
Good all round education with strong numeracy, literacy and IT skills
NVQ level 3 in Manufacturing operations
Training will be provided to the right applicants.
