Manpower are actively recruiting Mechanical Maintenance Technicians to work on a long term project in Blyth
As an integral part of our client Operations Team you will provide Mechanical Maintenance support in-house and to contractors across their site facilities.
You will have the responsibility of identifying and conducting routine maintenance/fault-finding and associated record keeping of site facilities and mechanical plant as necessary;
To be considered for this role you will need the following skills and attributes
Essential
Recognised apprenticeship in Mechanical Engineering
Proven track record of working in Mechanical Maintenance
Hydraulic installation and system operation experience
Installation fault-finding/rectification and general maintenance of plant and machinery experience
Experience of working with torque/tensioning equipment and associated gauges, sensors and measuring equipment
Desirable
A valid forklift truck licence and overhead travelling crane certificate
A valid Competent Person First Aid Certificate
General handling of heavy machinery/plant
Relevant training in lifting/slinging including PUWER/LOLER regulations
