Manpower are actively recruiting Electrical Maintenance Technicians for a long term project in Blyth
The Electrical Maintenance Technician is as an integral member of our clients Operations team and is responsible for the maintenance of assets and if required supports in the mobilisation and demobilisation of tests.
Suitable candidates will have served a recognised Electrical apprenticeship and have current practical installation and maintenance experience.
Essential Skills
Failure analysis and fault-finding techniques
Electrical control and distribution systems and compliance with regulatory and statutory regulations.
Reading and understanding complex electrical schematics
Analysing and solving complex problems and developing a range of solutions for maintenance and project/test completion.
Installation fault-finding/rectification and general maintenance of plant and machinery.
The understanding of PLC ControlsIn addition to the above you will possess strong and consistent problem-solving, troubleshooting, analytical and critical thinking capabilities and be capable of working at heights.
Desirable Qualifications and Skills
A valid forklift truck licence and overhead travelling crane certificate
A valid Competent Person First Aid Certificate

2391 Test and Inspection
General handling of heavy machinery/plant experience
Relevant training in lifting/slinging including PUWER/LOLER regulations
Basic knowledge of renewable energy industry
