Automation Software Test Engineer - £40k - £60k - Cambridge - Linux, Automation, Scripting, Containerisation, Agile
We are seeking an experienced automation tester to join a vibrant, highly technical organisation in their testing team. You will be involved in various systems; from Embedded and Bluetooth sensors, embedded Linux systems and Android handsets trough to Amazon Servers running cloud-based applications and databases. You will be writing automated test scripts across these, which gives you a fantastic platform to improve your current skillsets and build new knowledge across various technologies.
You will be:
-Writing automated tests for web and mobile based applications
-Contributing to fully automated test and continuous delivery systems
-Logging and communication results of automated tests
-Maintain and monitor the automated scripts
-Investigate and report bugs
You will have:
-Proficiency with a scripting language (JavaScript, Python, Bash, NodeJS, Java etc)
-Web test development skills (i.e. Protractor, Cucumber, Selenium, NodeJS, Mocha, CircleCl, Docker)
-Knowledge on testing APIs
-Competency in Jura, Confluence, Git, Jenkins, AWS
-Experience testing web apps for both desktop and mobile use
-Agile experience (Scrum)
