With multiple sites, this company have been going for over 20 years and specialise in the renewable energy industry. With increased government backing and a boom in the industry, they have grown from strength to strength, and continue to see ongoing year on year growth with extensive plans moving forward. They are looking to massively expand their R&D team in the coming years and are looking for someone to lead that expansion and to help them drive the business and technology forward.

In this role you will be required to be in the Truro office at least a few days a week. You will work with the R&D team to lead the development of brand new products from concept through to completion as well as researching improvements to the existing line. You will be involved in product development meetings, working with internal and extenal stakeholders to determine requirements, ensuring all products are in line with industry regulations and, seeing designs through to manufacture. You will initially be overseeing a small team however the part of the scope of this role will be to build a team as they are looking to grow the department.
