We are currently recruiting for a Residential Care Worker to work with Children and Young People at a residential home in Crowborough, East Sussex.
Your role will be taking care of the day to day needs of 6 young people between the ages of 10-17 as any parent would, ensuring the young people feel listened to and have a voice.
You will support the young people in activities, including, swimming, football, cycling etc along with taking part yourself! Along with any requirements they have on a day to day basis be it doctors, dentists, schooling etc.
The role requires you to be resilient, hard working and have common sense! You will also face challenging behaviour. Daily report writing is a key part of this role.
So, if you would like to join a small company which looks after their staff and likes to promote from within and has a clear Ethos around the work then this is the role for you. This role does NOT require you to undertake sleeps as they have waking nights but you will work on a rota basis and this will include long days.
A basic salary is offered of up to £19,000.
