Job Details

Repairs Surveyor required ASAP based in Newton Abbot.

Our client are looking for someone to join them on a temporary contract basis for around 2-3 months initially.

Duties of the role:

Undertake property condition surveys, Asbestos Surveys and Health & Safety inspections of properties and premises for the purpose of maintaining and improving properties

Ensure that Asset Management databases are correctly maintained

Prepare details, schedules of work, programmes, specifications and tender documentation and advertisements as necessary

Project management and oversight of contract works relating to programmed maintenance and improvements.

Undertake contract administration including works inspections, ensuring compliance with all appropriate legislative standards, including CDM co-ordinator or Client responsibilities in compliance with the client's own service standards and budgetary control.

Qualifications:

Education to GCSE standard in English and Maths at intermediate level, or a relevant national qualification equivalent to higher level (Grades A* - C)

Qualification in Building Technology HNC Level or equivalent trade / industry qualification
