The Role
As a Senior Reporting Accountant, you will form part of the Reporting & Group Control team whose primary responsibility is to provide a financial consolidation and reporting service.
In this capacity, your key accountabilities will include but not be limited to the following:
Preparation of the Group's annual, quarterly and monthly accounts. This will include responsibility for ensuring that all business submissions are received on a timely basis, analysis of the Group's performance in the period, and undertaking group consolidations.
Be part of the forward-controlling process, including the production of monthly latest view updates, and Annual Plans.
Maintenance of accounting records and preparation of statutory accounts for TSE Ltd and various other group companies. These include consolidated and stand alone accounts under IFRS and other local GAAP's as applicable.
Preparation of papers and financial analysis for the Board and Audit Committee meetings.
Prepare detailed technical analysis on accounting issues faced by the Group including assessing the impact of new accounting standards and developing a plan to implement any necessary changes to the Group's accounting and reporting processes.
Financial reporting and analysis support to other departments (M&A and Treasury) in relation to corporate transactions as and when required.
Work as part of a cross-functional team to prepare the Group's investor relations communications including the explanation of the quarterly financial performance of the business
Maintenance of the Group Controllers Manual.The Candidate
To be considered for this opportunity, you will be preferably educated to degree level (or equivalent) and will be fully qualified with one of the recognised bodies (ACA / CIMA / ACCA).
In addition to the above qualifications, you should also possess the following knowledge and skills:
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish and maintain working relationships with colleagues of all levels, including those in other businesses, other functions and with external auditors.
Computer literate in PC software applications and Hyperion Financial Management (Group consolidation system).
Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
The ability to manage change and identify opportunities to implement improvements.What They Offer
