Structural Engineer

Friendly group of structural engineers and architects is seeking a Structural Engineer to join their well established consultancy. The office is based in Romford, Essex. This is permanent position attracting a competitive salary, depending on the level of the applicant.

You should ideally live locally to the consultancy, parking is available and the practice is a 5 min walk from the station.

The office environment is very relaxed, they have very low staff turnover. You will be taking responsibility for all aspects of projects, attending site, meeting with clients and architects - it is very much a busy and active role. The consultancy works on a number of interesting projects not only in the resi area but also have many commercial projects. They have big name clients including betting shops, breweries and property developers - work is spread nationwide.

Work also consists of smaller resi work which is in the local area, however you will also be required to work on large projects and you should have practical building knowledge as well as structural refurbishment experience. Site experience is desirable, as is having an architectural flare. Chartership would be useful but not essential.
