Excellent role on offer for a Maintenance Supervisor looking to join an expanding, well-established, market leading company where no two days will be the same as well and working for a great employer that are keen to train, develop and progress their staff.

Do you have a Mechanical Bias with some basic electrical skills? Are you looking for an extremely varied role where you will be hands on, working on projects whilst supervising a team of 10 production staff? Are you looking to join a company who are well known to train, develop and progress their staff?

Established for over 80 years this company manufacture, process, package and supply food products to a range of blue chip manufacturers and retail outlets across the UK. Despite Covid 19 they have been extremely busy and have recently invested into state of the art machinery and have impressive growth plans in place over the next 5 years. They are therefore looking to recruit a Maintenance Supervisor to join their close knit team of engineers.

This role would require you to work 6:30 - 6:30 days and nights during the peak periods whilst working 8-5 Monday to Friday during the spring - summer. You will work in a busy and demanding department where you will carry out planned preventative maintenance, reactive maintenance and be involved in continuous improvements across the site.

With long terms plans to further develop the site it is a fantastic time to join this expanding close knit company which will give you not only job stability but job satisfaction.

This role would therefore ideally suit a well-rounded multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer who has either a mechanical or electrical bias who is looking for a stable, varied and autonomous role. Mechanical and electrical maintenance on a range of equipment
PPM and breakdown repair
Supervising a team of 10 staff

Experience from a Food/ FMCG background is preferable but not essential
Versatile and able to work on an array of equipment
Excellent communication skills
