Registered Children's Home Manager - Enfield
Service Care Solutions are looking for a Registered Children's Home Manager for our client which is based in Enfield. This is a permanent vacancy with duties including managing and assuring the smooth running and co-ordination of the child care services of a designated children's home in conjunction with the operations teams and company's policies and procedures.

CONTRACT - Permanent
SALARY - £38 - £45k per year depending on experience
START - ASAP

PERSON SPECIFICATION AND QUALIFICATIONS
*Evidence of child care training/experience
*Child care or relevant qualifications
*Knowledge and understanding of child protection issues
*Understand and knowledge of the needs of children
*NVQ Level 5 or willingness to work towards it
*At least 1 years' experience working in a care setting
*Experience of working with children who have been abused and have emotional and/or behavioural difficulties
*An enthusiasm and commitment to the children and the staff team
*Ability to listen and respond both responsibly and appropriately with sensitivity
GENERAL DUTIES
*Attend, where appropriate, Reviews, Planning Meetings etc
*Supervise and report on all expenditure associated with the home in accordance with company procedure
*To co-ordinate and ensure each young person has a key worker and is seen regularly
*To be on call to the home
*Supervision/Appraisal of residential staff
*In conjunction with the Resource Managers ensure that the designated home is adequately covered by Rota
*Ensure compliance with all current statutory and company duties, procedures, guidelines and other instructions
*To manage the House Fund and expenditure to agreed level
