Company

Would you like the opportunity to start with a company who have been established since 2003 and are growing successfully and expanding securely and rapidly due to their proven strength within the industry?

My client provides Security and Life Safety Systems including Alarms, Intercom and CCTV systems to both the commercial and domestic sectors ensuring premises and both safe and secure and maximising peace of mind.

With a culture of "Treating others how you would like to be treated yourself" this company attract both staff and customers through their profession, friendly, accommodating and proactive approach to all that they do.

Role

My client is seeking to employ both an Installation Engineer and a Service Engineer who are experienced within Fire and Security Systems who can work to a high and unsupervised standard.

The General Duties for this role will include but not be limited to...

* Being Accountable - To yourself, your team and your fellow engineers

* Be a beacon of the company representing polite professionalism always

* Have a great attitude with a "can do" approach

* Liaise with customers to lead and tailor a service to meet their expectation

* Install / Service systems to satisfy the customer and their representatives

* Manage your activity and productivity to deliver on-time to your high standards

* Liaise with colleagues, maintain and represent good support to them and expect similar support in return

A competent and qualified alarm engineer is essential; however, there may be a elements of either discipline in which you are slightly less skilled. Whilst experience in these disciplines would be an advantage, my client can commit to train and up-skill areas of weaker knowledge. The fundamental electronic skills and dependence on ohms law etc must be prevalent in approach. A great engineer will adapt and has a natural hunger to learn and become more capable. Remember, you're the kid that took the clock apart to see how it worked - which was probably the last time it did work! But you've grown up.

Summary: The person should be highly organised and efficient, able to work in a busy changing environment with enthusiasm and determination. As an excellent communicator the candidate will liaise comfortably with customers and within their team. Deliver the highest standards of workmanship and care about the seen and unseen side of the systems they touch. Be proud to of the work you do. For the right person there may be opportunity to progress in this very successful team, as part of a highly successful business.
