Job Details
The Role – Assistant Engineer
Hours – 7am till 16:00pm
Pay – Negotiable depending on experience
Key responsibilities include:
Planning and undertaking scheduled maintenance
Responding to breakdowns
Diagnosing faults
Deal with emergencies, unplanned problems and repairs
Ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation
Creating maintenance procedures
Key skills required:
minimum 5 years’ experience
the capacity to understand a range of engineering functions and procedures
teamworking skills to work cooperatively and liaise with people at all levels
excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
the confidence to respond positively when under pressure
knowledge of how mechanical systems and equipment work
manual skills necessary to carry out maintenance operations
Ideally you will have FMEA , PM scheduling and electrical background not essential would advantageous
