CLASS 1 HGV DRIVERS NEEDED - DAY / NIGHT SHIFTS AVAILABLE
Search Consultancy have jobs available working for a major fresh food distributor. After working in partnership with the client for over 3 years we want to offer driving jobs that are flexible and commit to regular working patterns.
THE JOB
You will be driving a Class 1 HGV (C+E) truck. Mainly trunking with occasional unloading of roll cages. You will be making deliveries for both raw materials and finished products around the UK.
Drivers will have interaction directly with the Client's customers so good communication and customer service skills are required.
SHIFT PATTERNS
The operation runs 7 days a week on both day and night shifts.
Day shift - typically starts between 0500 - Midday
Night shift - typically starts between (Apply online only)
(Drivers can have their preferred start times accommodated, you do not need to be flexible across a 7 hour starting window).
Rates of pay are:
£12.25 ph - Monday to Friday - Days (Overtime after 10 hours £18.50)
£13.50 ph - Monday to Friday - Nights (Overtime after 10 hours £19.50)
£15.20 ph - Saturday
£17.25 ph - Sunday
THE DRIVER
For this job you must have a valid Class 1 (C+E) HGV licence.
For insurance purposes you must have no more than 6 minor points on your licence.
Previous experience with refrigerated loads is preferred but not essential.
