Description

Contribute to the development of the company's sales administration activities.
Positively contribute to the team by supporting with incoming enquiries and dealing with customer orders via the telephone and electronic media.
Make outgoing calls to customers to clarify and provide information about their orders, deliveries, products, etc., where required.
Ensure that the sales enquiry process is conducted in a timely manner that meets internal procedures and customer satisfaction.
Ensure customer orders are inputted into the system in a timely, accurate and efficient manner.
Focus on the customer at all times, providing a high-quality service that is tailored to meet their individual needs.
Adherence to International standard requirements in relation to Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental (including energy).
Additional duties as assigned by the Customer Service Manager that are deemed necessary for effective business operations.

Profile

Ability to communicate effectively using a variety of mediums. Clearly conveys information and ideas through to individuals or groups in a manner that engages them and helps them to understand and retain the message.
Works positively and effectively as a team member and helps build relationships within it. Actively helps and supports others to achieve team goals. Is reliable and flexible in their approach.
Takes personal responsibility for own actions and for sorting out issues or problems that arise. Is focused on achieving results to the required standards and developing skills and knowledge.
Focuses on the customer and provides a high-quality service that is tailored to meet their individual needs. Maintains contact with customers, establishes what they need and responds quickly and effectively.

2 years Sales Administration or Customer Service experience, ideally gained in a manufacturing and/or logistics environment.
Excellent working knowledge of MS Office and Outlook.
Experience of CRM/SAP would be advantageous.
Flexible and positive approach to work.
A strong team player.
Excellent telephone manner.
Works well under pressure with the ability to face difficult challenges and timescales.
Good timekeeping.

Job Offer

Salary up to £18K
Pension scheme
25 days holiday + Bank Hol

Working hours - 2 week rota:
8am until 4.00pm Monday to Thursday and 8am until 3.30pm on a Friday
9am until 5.00pm Monday to Thursday and 9.30am start on Friday
